Anika continues to look for a home, and we are very worried if, when, and how she will find one because in addition to being beautiful, she is also little bit wild. If she lives in a home, where she is the only pet, where she receives a lot of attention, walks, and trainings, she will be wonderful. She is smart, social, and loving. If she is with another dog, there is doubtful that they’ll get along because she is quite obsessive and dominant. Still, if she is adopted by an experienced person, who is willing to pay attention to her and train her, she might be able to live with other dogs.
Anika is young, about 1.5 years old, spayed, with a microchip and vaccinated. She walks well on a leash. She is medium size, about 16kg.
We finally found out her story before she ended up on the street. She had an owner, who gave her to an acquaintance and, up to this moment, thought that the other person was taking care of her. The other person watched her in such a way that for 2 months Anika was on the street, in heat and confused, on her way to become yet another pregnant stray dog on her way to give birth to more suffering puppies…
